As posted earlier, images from leaked game files are running rampant, and user azuraji over at MMO-Champion has supplied yet more models images of the new Ghoul and describes one of its abilities:

One of the animations is called Birth — it shows how the ghoul emerges from the ground/soil/dirt

That sounds like an ability that would be used when a Death Knight summons the ghoul to me. This may very well be our first look at our summoned pet from Raise the Dead.
