Blizzard.com Splash Screen Hints at WotLK News?
The 2008 Worldwide Invitational is this weekend, so does the above graphic (that is the new Blizzard.com splash screen) mean that there will be some big news or announcement in regards to WotLK? It’s hard to say, but from the looks of the image it appears to be something or someone breaking through a sheet of ice. It’s definitely Blizzard like to foreshadow a big announcement before one of their own big events to help hype it up. We’ll see soon enough. Here is a WWI 2008 summary:
What is the 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational?
The Worldwide Invitational is a two-day event bringing together the company and gamers in a convention atmosphere, featuring:
- A chance to try World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft II
- Discussion panels with Blizzard developers
- Artist and developer signings
- Competitive and casual player tournaments
- Costume, dance and other player contests with great prizes
- Live musical performances

- Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of June 2008.
- Hall 5 of the Porte de Versailles Exposition Center, Paris, France.

It cant be diablo. Diablo 3 has something to do with a meteor and the new devil comes out of it. lol I think it is gonna lead to a special pre wotlk event that we get to do. like for instance before bc everyone went to the dark portal to fight a giant monster. it may be something new like that.
