Site Love

So Alpha talent trees have been all the rage. War-Tools is and will be THE place for making and maintaining customizable and “dream” talent trees (real ones too of course). With Alpha information leaked, however, they felt the need to removed any NDA covered content. No problem really, other sites (War-Pirate, Yarr!) picked up the slack and created other sites that made making “dream” (we’ll say dream for S&G’s) talent trees possible. The demand for such information was so strong that eventually the above sites got kicked from their servers due to bandwidth/resource problems. BlackDew, maker of Yarr!, stepped up and spent his own time creating a “stand alone”, downloadable version of the War-Tools talent creater. This will enable anyone that wants to play around with possible builds to do so without crippling another site.

I took the download and added the Death Knight version here to our site. You can create DK talent builds here, I was too scared to add all the classes especially since we just recovered from our own hosting issues. As stated in this thread, if it starts to cripple this site or if War-Tools or even BlackDew request it be removed, I will do so instantly.

Community Love

I’ve always said that the success of a site, especially one like ours, would be impossible without the support and participation of the community. DeathKnight.info will server as a portal for anyone interested in playing learning or just admiring the upcoming Death knight hero class. BUT, it will never work without future DK’s visiting, linking to, talking about, or mentioning the site. I am blown away at how many guild websites, blogs, wiki’s, and even huge media outlets have linked to our site. That said, I want to make sure that we link back to those sites. I want to help spread the word about YOUR site. I obviously can’t add every single site to the right sidebar, however, occasionally I will do posts like these that rocognize the sites that are ran and maintained by our members. So if you want a link from here, tell me in this forum post!
