Hemet Nesingwary is Gonna Die! [UPDATED]

Since long before I can remember, Hemet Nesingwary has had me brutally slaughter countless animals. Granted I haven’t and won’t do much complaining about it, because lets be honest, the exp and rewards he gives have been awesome. Now the Druids are striking back. D.E.H.T.A (also known as Druids for the Ethical and Humane Treatment of Animals) have set up a base in Northrend and a rewarding the Hero that can slay this evil stump of a dwarf.

D.E.H.T.A’s area in the Borean Tundra apparently gives debuffs for the killing of animals:

And rewards those that help their cause:

*Update* sources say the following:

The buff from D.E.H.T.A. is for turning in 15 ears of Nessingwary mobs. There are many “Loot Crazed Hunter” and “Nessingwary Divers” in the area that drop them and you can turn them in at any time.

This is specualation on my part, but it appears the ultimate goal your receive from D.E.H.T.A is to kill Hemet himself!

The wanted poster is actually a sign underneath a statue of Hemet in the middle of the D.E.H.T.A. camp.

(Note: Most of the above is an assumption on my part. The actual use of the debuff and buff and even the wanted poster is unknown. You can take the 3 images for what they are worth.)

We did, in vanilla WoW, Nessingwary (not Jr.) was in Stranglethorn… with BC, he travelled to Nagrand and his son is in Stranglethorn. With WotLK, Nessingwary seems to be in Northrend and… maybe another son(?) is in Nagrand and keep killing.
