Yeah I said it, and from here on out that’s how I’ll feel about every new big 2Hander we see. (flame on) This appears to be a dungeon drop in a mid level dungeon. And unless it changes it looks like the gear increase from TBC to WotLk will be about the same or higher than it was from Vanilla to TBC. Thanks WotLKWiki for the image!

I just want to know what the legendary “Two Hand” item is that is in the background of that pic.
Nix that, it’s the “Two Hand” red overlaying the item name behind it making it appear orange…I’m blind.
Arms warriors and Ret Paladins can use that sword, but it isn’t optimal for Ret Paladins. Often, Ret Paladins prefer weapons with +strength due to divine strength talent. Arms warriors are also getting a similar talent. If I read correctly regarding death knight leaked talent trees, Strength will be DKs’ primary damage stat. Due to Veteran of the Third War and Ravenous Dead talent which increases total strength by 11% (both talents combined). This weapon is not likely to be a death knight’s weapon, but a hunter’s weapon (trollbane anyone?).
Also, I forgot to add that if you take a look at Forceful Deflection talent. It makes it quite clear that Death Knight tanking will revolve around strength supporting parries.
So, it should be quite clear by now, Trollcrusher is hunter loot not DK loot.
My title was more of a joke, and yes you have valid points, but as a leveling sword, any DK that passes up on this is just plain silly. (granted we dont know what else will be available). I think all of your points would be more valid if we were talking about a level 80 “endgame” sword.

lvl 75 required and its 630 top end where s4 weapons are 606 top end
just a mediocre hunter weapon for its level
a DK would NOT give this up becaus the stats arent perfect (even tho there still damn good)
any mellee picks the wepon with the higest DPS and most times slowest speed
any hunter who takes a mellee wepon over a melee class is a loot whore, just as i would pass on a ranged wepon if a hunter needed it
That’s a pretty amazing Hunter weapon. The Stats are pretty obviously meant for Hunters (it has the 3 best DPS stats for Hunters: Agility, Armor Pen, and AP). That’s a crapton of armor pen 0.0
Yea, DKs and Titan’s Grip Warriors can use it, but my god that’s a ridiculously good Hunter weapon.
