With build 8471 a new Undead Drake mount was added to the game files. We can speculate all day long - Is it the Death Knight only flying mount? Will it be the new arena reward mount? The next holy grail of mounts like the Ashes of Al’ar ? We don’t know yet who, how, or where, but we do know that it looks bad ass!

Anyone else see the other mounts? Theres a 460% Netherdrake thats Red and Black, A 320% Blue dragon and A war bear mount unarmored. The speeds could have been moded, but who knows.

These mounts are used for the 2nd quest you need to kill 200 mobs for, in the Death Knight starting zone.
The first one you have to kill 200 mobs with cannons, from a ship, and the 2nd one you have to use this mount’s abilities to annihilate 200 crusaders. His attack ability is some kind of Icebolt which spreads onto multiple targets (no cooldown), and his 2nd skill is to devour a crusader, which restores its mana (which is ofcourse used for the Icebolts).
It can be just for the Quest, although i dont think they would make such a cool mount just for that Quest, i suppose its something like a netherdrake, you had the Scout Quest with a netherdrake in Nagrand too.

those arent netherdrakes. just the azerothian drakes.
