A few early posts in the newly opened Beta Forums have dropped some new information that we’ve all been asking. What about Rune swapping? Well the answer isn’t much clearer now, but we do have more information to soak in:

Looks like we might not be able to reconfigure our runes (maybe I just haven’t unlocked that ability from questing yet), but instead specialize our weapons to give us passive combat buffs. Some of which are defensive, others which are offensive.
