I know a majority of us can’t benefit from these just yet, but it will certainly give you a good idea of the direction of some of the new DK oriented modifications.

The first one is a custom player protrait bar. It appears to have the the same graphic as the quested Great Sword of the Ebon Blade. Here are some screens of it:

If you are in beta and would like to test it out here is the link on CurseForge.

Another new mod in the making is called Rune Tracker. It basically makes a small window that tracks the cooldown of your runes. Here is a screenshot and a video showing it in action:

Download link can be found on his guild website.

Some nice mods there. I’m surprised nobody has tried resurrecting the old unit frame from alpha, since it’s still in the files and would be easy to access.

The first one is an blatant throwback to it. I think it even looks significantly better!

If there was any way someone could make me an addon for beta that is excatly the same as the Axe portrait from alpha i would kneel before you!

I’m the author of the Ebon Runeblade addon. I would be willing to give a $50 reward to the person who can make the best looking rune animations & I will include them with my mod.

It had only 16 frames right now, but it can support up to 128 frames. They simply need to be in separate TGA files.

Are you interested in running this contest?

So once the WOTLK comes out will you be able to customize your character portrait so it looks cool like the first picture posted, or is it going to be a separate mod?
