It’s Official, Activision - Blizzard Merger Approved

Today shareholders voted unanimously in approval of the Activision/Blizzard merger that was announced last December. In the deal Blizzard’s parent owner Vivendi will become the 52% majority owner in the newly formed Activision Blizzard after buying $1.7 billion worth of stock. What does this mean to us WoW gamers? Nothing, but it’s news anyway.

  1. cant wait to start skateboarding on the latest tony hawks game as arthas or play guitar hero as level 70 etc

    … -.-

  2. In my opinion deathknight.info should stick to wotlk based information. Trying to be wowinsider is kind of cool but not the reason we come to this site. Random wow news kind of clutters up the homepage where we are looking for wotlk news.

  3. activision has a terrible logo.

  4. akupun, I appreciate your opinion, however, had you been coming to this site since it was born (August 4, 2007) you would know that we have always posted World of Warcraft news. It’s recent success has come on the luck of getting all these alpha leaks, but we are not JUST a WotLK Alpha Leak site, sorry.
