Army of the Dead
I think most of us have been waiting since August of 2007 to finally see this spell in action! It’s not OMG based on this video, but it’s potential is there. So, just hit 80, got Army of the Dead, I’m uploading a video atm, but it seems rather weak. I expected it not to work at all though, and it seems to be working, somewhat.
The part where it reduces damage doesn’t seem to be working at all to be honest. It pops a lot of ghouls, which seem to taunt everything around, but they’re normal ghoul, so low hp. They do a decent bit of damage, but overall, nothing really great. Will test more, respeced unholy for the talent to reduce the cd on it, not sure if it works so well.
Edit2: It’s actually bugged, instead of reducing damage taken by parry+dodge, it increases damage taken by parry+dodge. For people who are wondering, it adds your dodge and parry and use that as a % to reduce damage. So like, with 20%dodge and 15%parry, you get 35% dmg reduction(when it’s fixed) for 8secs. Assuming you scourge strike every unholy rune after that with night of the dead, you can use it every 1min35(I think).

Lol… It’s sweet and all, but it looks a bit underpowered.
Bit underwhelmed tbh, expected a HUGE army of ghouls.
How many more could you want? I’d prefer they keep the number relatively low so they’re not an army of totems. I counted 12, but that’s by no means an accurate number of how many were summoned
I’m sure I would enjoy it more if it wasn’t zoomed out all the way and if he didn’t have titles enabled and his mod in the middle and all the scrolling combat text.
uh, that’s quite a bit of damage, I wouldnt consider that underpowered, try it against an elite or something next time where they’ll focus
i would rather like to see army of the dead go against a lvl thats close to 80 just to see how long they last, not low lvls but other than that thnx for showing us a sneek peek on Army of the Dead
What is that interface mod that he has?
It’s the one that is mid-screen and is like 2 semi circles, on side for his health the other for his targets health?
If anyone could answer that, that would be fantastic.

Afaik it takes 8 seconds to summon them, then they last for… 30?
What is that mod that you have just above your action bar mate, the rectangular box with the colours in it.

Its quite useful when used against 1 target in pvp
