Wrath of the Lich King™ Beta Test
You have been selected to participate in the beta test of World of Warcraft®: Wrath of the Lich King™. Welcome! In the beta test you’ll get an opportunity to test the first zones of the new Northrend continent, and the new levels above 70. We look forward to your feedback on the overall experience, including quests, monsters, zones, aesthetics, and more. We would also appreciate reports on any bugs you may encounter. These can be logged using the /bug command explained below. Getting started: In order to participate in the beta test, you must upgrade an existing retail account that has been upgraded with The Burning Crusade®, allowing you to connect to the Wrath of the Lich King™ test realms. The World of Warcraft®: The Burning Crusade® game client that you use must be patched up to version 2.4.2 or later in order to install the beta test client. Go to http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com and follow the detailed, step-by-step instructions to begin playing the Wrath of the Lich King beta. Please be prepared to enter the current retail World of Warcraft account name and password you use, and the appropriate beta code listed below to authenticate your eligibility to connect to the Wrath of the Lich King test realms. To participate in the beta tests, you must have a valid retail World of Warcraft account active and in good standing as of July 15, 2008. Below is a beta code that will allow you to upgrade a World of Warcraft account to be eligible for the Wrath of the Lich King beta test. Each beta code can be used only once to upgrade an active retail World of Warcraft account. *88********* Please retain this email for your records. If you experience any issues setting up the beta account or accessing the test realms, please email Billing Support at wowbetabilling@blizzard.com. Sending us feedback: Typing /bug in chat will open an error reporting interface, and we encourage you to use it any time you encounter a problem or want to send us a suggestion. Troubleshooting:
If you experience any difficulties installing the beta game client, or have problems connecting to the test realms, please contact Technical Support either by posting on the appropriate forum at http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/forums or by email at wowbetatech@blizzard.com. Please remember that this software is still undergoing development, so any in-game issues should be reported using the /bug feature.

Guess I’m outta luck again =P
Gratz to the new guys (& girls) in the Beta!
Sigh. No beta invite for me yet. :(
Grats to all :)
Does anyone know if its only US keys that have been sent out or have they sent EU keys as well?
-Syn
Yes, I got an EU beta invite last night, so both EU & US beta invitations were sent out.
I was not in alpha/WWI or anything like that.
I think it was just US keys.
I wonder how many more invites will be sent.
Id imagine eventually they wont accept anyone new in anymore period.
My mistake. Cool. EU get to join the fun.
~Fun I was going through my Google Reader news feeds this morning and discovered this post.
I also got into the beta test last night!!
I am not from the US but I do play on the US servers (if that helps).
thanx Kenzi!
and Grats to any new beta testers out there!
Wonder if i can email Blizzard and beg them to send me an invite. lol jk..
Does anyone know if they are sending out more invites or was that it?
As far as i know their going to keep sending them.
To keep a steady stream of players coming in.
Only Blizzard knows for sure what their plan is though.
Not all EU invites have been sent, just the English ones. In the official spanish forum it has been confirmed that not all the EU invites have been sent
What about Belgians? Does Belgium get counted in with the English or are we kicked aside? O_o
Belgian myself and got a key, so I doubt it ChaosHaven ;)
Gah, no fair xD
I was thinking about begging for an invite as well since im on vacation, so i have time for a lot of testing, doubt it will work though :P
It’s all about luck Syn, while Blizz would like to have people really taking the testing serious & giving alot of feedback, they can’t know for sure who has alot of time & is a serious tester, so Invites are pure random and you just need to be lucky enough =P
Did any US players actually get opt-ins? Most of the people responding here seem to be Euro
US opt-in here, didn’t attend Blizzcon or WWI, got my beta key last night, downloaded and was in the beta this AM.
no fair have 773 messeges in email even if i got it i cant find it can some one tell me dates
and wat is the from on the messege blizzard?
Still no luck :/ congradulations to all who got their key.
My account is dormant,is there still a chance i’ll recieve a beta key? Or since its not “active” i wont get one -_-
Got my beta invite yesterday morning, couldnt do anything about it until the evening, and then it took nearly ten hours, to download the client, install it and wait for the patches.
But i did spend 3 hours before work blasting through dk starting zone and thoroughly enjoying it.
This has reinforced my previous thoughts that i would be rerolling dk for my main in wrath, shaman and hunter will become alts.
i was 1 of the first to opt-in for the key.. but still no luck :/
what to do…
gz gz gz to all who got keys…fix the game for us!!! thx :P :D xD
CURSE You Blizzard.
goddamn after i saw this i checked my email.
“Inbox (1)”
Me: OMG YES !?!?!?!
…”Fiesta Now Invites you to beta test! Congratulations!”…
Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
sigh…
So… I see 1 new email.. Then see it’s from Blizzard, and.. “Earn an Exclusive Mount with the new WoW ™ Recruit-A-Friend”, I cried a little
You already got the mail? Now it’s a fact… emails sent from Blizzard arrive later than they should in my mailbox (meaning I might as well get a key AFTER the Beta is over T_T)
Efff that email they sent out about the friends thing made my die a little inside when i saw it.
Same thing happened to me I checked my e-mail before work saw a blizzard entertainment e-mail and I about jumped for joy and then it was some stupid recruit a friend thing
Dammit you Brk my lil Heart /cry
*sigh* :( Nothin for me… Go figure.
So I am in Afghanistan and I got this email from noreply@blizzard.com like all the other emails I get from them anyway its old

Does this mean when I get home I can put the info they request in and get my key?
It asks for my account name pass and my cd-key for some reason.
Legit or not?
I like the part where hundreds of Blizzcon and WWI attendees have still been left in the cold.
@ Deathzero: As you can see, that email is nowhere close to the blue post at the top of this page, so it’s definitely not legit.
On another note, where’s my email? T.T
Shiv that email was sent well before the beta was released so I dunno. Plus the link takes you directly to worldofwarcraft.com have yet to do anything with it as I am not home for a month or 2 and being in the army its hard to play wow when your a grunt.
