    Woo, grats!

Pretty sure this was brought up on the vote thread, but those were taken DIRECTLY from another game (Ultima)

You basically just awarded someone for Copy/Pasting someone else artwork.

The original post there was a commetn that #14 was a knock off of the UO runes. Maybe you should pay more attention.

Grats Vectorvixen on winning, those are some great looking runes!

    @Luk3ling
Even if he did copy and paste (which he did not, I referenced them) it’s the votes that count.

Did I say Ultima ONLINE? No, actually. Maybe I’m not the one who needs to pay attention.

And here’s a piece of advice to you.

Pay more mindto whom you reward and where you throw your money, otherwise you’ll end up on the bottom of the barrel.

But hey, who is to say that isn’t where you belong?

Either way, if you want to let the rightful winner (#3) go away cheated, feel free. As for referencing, if you’re savvy with the internet, This link should get you where you need to go:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_(video_game_series)

    Enjoy.

I appreciate the link, but I ain’t digging through a wall of text on wikipedia to find where she copied the runes. One would think that you would link directly to them if you was so confident she copied them, otherwise you’re only looking like an ass.

Being at the bottom of the barrel wouldn’t be so bad, means I had to drink a lot to get there!

Why all the angst? Did you enter the contest and lose?

I didn’t realize one couldn’t throw money at whomever they pleased.

Unlike Kenzi, I did dig through every link in that Wiki and found nothing remotely close to the winning runes. I think somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed to see his favorite entry in the contest had only a handful of votes in the end and couldn’t stand a chance of winning.

Oh, and the “rightful winner (#3)” has 2 runes identical to those found within the Ultima universe, not just close, but exactly the same. Specifically the death rune (the letter “A” in Britannian Runic) and the frost rune (the letter “V” in Britannian Runic, though a little less obvious from this reference image).

And since it’s obvious you are not internet savvy, I’ve done all the hard work for you.

I can hear it now, “You must have photoshoped that!” So here’s the source image that I simply laid the rune contest entry over.

    Grats Vectorvixen.

You won fair and square and nice detective work Zeke. :D

Kinda funny that the blood rune looks like a ‘B’, the frost rune looks like a backwards ‘F’ and the unholy rune looks like a “U” >_>

uh, i think that’s the death rune that’s the backwards ‘F’, if the blood rune looks like a ‘B’ you might want to work on your hand writing, though i grant you the unholy looks like a ‘U’
