Onyxia Solo’d DK Style
Yes, I know, post 70 this isn’t such a huge feat…but it’s still cool. Scareblade posted his feat on MMO-Champion. His first attempt recorded a “beta only” achievment. His second kill was captured on video. He used a 51 point Unholy build seen here…enjoy.
Anti-Magic Shell also didn’t work at all. So I had to do without as Unholy. I guess the Magic Suppression talent is bugged.
I expeted some problems in Phase 2, but it was easy. Unholy Blight was all it takes to kill those baby dragons. Activate and forget about them, just pound on Onyxia.
She als parries like crazy, so I used some legplates with 80+ expertise rating. That helped too.

blizzard actully made an achievment to solo ony? Wow… You would think they wuold try to keep all the achievements in WotLK

What’s a little funny is Pre-BC,Pre-WotLK 40 friggin people had to group up and take Onyxia down. Now umm here comes a Death Knight who solo’s this.
I find it a little amusing.
This shows the power you have. I mean 40 people used to be needed to take this guy down.
Yeah 40 in vanilla, 3-5 in TBC so it kinda makes sense that shes soloable in WotLK.
It doesnt really show any power, shes been soloed in TBC content by a druid already, the DK in this vid has 10 levels on the druid.
I have seen a Paladin solo her as well.
Dude I was watching that last night, the wife walks in and starts saying “Jesus christ honey Death Knights are overpowered” so we got into a little… discussion… as to why I am not overpowered but just totally awesome.
Ooo beta only… my bad.. read it as I was falling a sleep and posted here i think while sleep walking =O.. but anyway… I have seen a druid like full T^ solo her as well.
Just don’t expect to solo every old-WoW raid… some things still work timed y’know. Back to topic… w-t-f?!
Well… next stop, Ragnaros XD. I’m gonna solo Onyxia too when I’m a Death Knight XD.

I hope this isnt soloable when wotlk comes out, I think blizz should at least make a heroic (or call it something diffrent) version of at least some old content. It couldent be that hard, as its already done for you, all you have to do is change nubers.
She was 3 manned PRE-TBC, pretty sure i heard about 2 druids 2 maning.
So 2 expansions later she is soloable, does it matter?
Soloing her isn’t anywhere near fun as killing her as level 60 with 30-40 people.

Is it a macro or an addon which changes the symbol of his unholy blight button, if unholy blight is active or not?
And if it is a macro, how will it look?
