For good or bad the new beta build brought new rune icons. Like them or not, you have to admit our contest winner still deserves a closer look!

Either way, the new beta icons are a giant step up from any official runes we have seen so far.

omg, I think the our ones are much better.. maybe someone can make a mod to use the contest winner ones….
There are also new DK-only skins that make us look undead. Some are broken, but they look so cool. DKs can also only choose 3 hair colors, but some are unique as well (dark blue, icey blue). Makes me wanna reroll.. almost.
Well, that’s how it was earlier when I logged in to beta, could be different now.
Seriously, I think that visually, Blizard is turning the Death Knight a little bit TOO childish, the older (second,NOT the first) Runes were better, heck even taking the contest winner’s runes wouldn’t be a bad idea at al.
Basically put, I’m unsatisfied with this sudden, Pete knows why reason they changed the runes to something worse (never seen any damn runes looking like that)
The real problem, as stated before many times in forums, it the visibility of the runes & cooldown. Enlarging the runes would have been a bigger improvement than changing them.
I still want to know what happened to the unique player frame. It’s still in the game files, but why haven’t they turned back on?
New ones look to kiddy. Look forward to getting the winners version as a mod.

And I dearly hope that gnome DKs can have pink hair. If not, I will be forced to give Blizz’s entire Wrath production team several boots to the head.

lol the new ones look better imo, yet they do look a little like the language in the old game Jak and Daxter….
the old blood one looked a little like a target, the frost one was… well a snowflake which i thought was ok, the pink one (whatever that is) looks like a logo on some sort of bug spray and the unholy one looked like the batman logo lol
