2 DK’s 1 Priest Do Karazhan
Today hadeniaz shared in the forums his recently near clearing of Karazhan. (all cleared except for Nightbane). It was done on the Korean beta servers, so you’ll have to just image what the SS’s say. (unless you can read them) Both DK’s where Unholy specced, here is the build used for tanking. You can read his forum post here and see this pics below. He said next on the list was ZA, hopefully we’ll have some video to go along with it!

on a second note: very interesting to see the stat gap, I doubt 3 players would have been able to of done something of this calibur (from WoW to BC) such as 12 man MC, in fresh gear
We almost conquered MC when the Lv cap was 77 (Yes. the same group)
Its really funny cuz we tried to complete MC yesterday but the Core Hound model was causing 132 crash to our priest somereason.
and yes, thats why we actually decided to try KZ instead of MC.
Trust me, it was worth trying. I would love to try solo Onyxia, but shes been missing from SW since the begining. Seriously, remove the attunment or something blizzard…anyways
On the sidenote, you can bascially just AE all heroic dungeons with no problem. That kinda gave us thinking “Hey, why don’t we try KZ since we can just clear heroics like motherf*ckers lol”
Why in the hell would they not take bone shield? Even one point out of improved rune tap is worth that.

Thats because I’m getting 2 night of dead, and spending shit many talents on boosting spell damage so I can AE a lot better.
The key idea behind this build is to tank and AE at the same time, possibly with Army of the Dead with very short cooldown.
It seems to be better than just going deep frost and just spamming blasts and FS. UB and DnD are just so much fun in dungeons.
What’s that axe being used? I’ve seen it in alot of DK videos…

Its nice to seet his can be done. Kara is one of the coolest places to just… hang out in, once it’s been cleared.
Bone armour isn’t good for AoE, so I understand why you didn’t take it. 1v1 on bosses, would it have made much difference? All depends on your healer.
I would’ve got desecration though…
I am sorry to be the party pooper, really. But level 80’s three-manning Karazahn reminds me of the DK soloing Onyxia at 80. A Druid did it already at 70.
With all due respect, could 3 different classes of level 80 players not do the same, if not better?

That it is possible, that DKs are strong, that they can tank and DPS and… that nobody cares anymore about Karazhan once he hit level 80?
1. I don’t think the Ony video ever said “hey I’m a DK and I solo’d Ony, I’m better than every other class” Yes the druid and many other classes have done it…does that mean we don’t want to see a Death Knight do it?
2. We never said that other classes couldn’t 3 man Kara. And even if they do, whether or not they do it “better” would be an opinion (which you are more than welcome to hit the forums to debate it). I could care less about none DK trios doing it (this is DK.info after all)

Yeah, main reason most the vids (or pics in this case) are ok DKs doing x is because a good chuck of beta players are testing DKs rather then their mains (I mean why not play a class before it gets nerfed to badly while it still is being fine tuned).
Early Beta every one trys new classes (or races last one) first which is why PTR are just as usefull for beta testing then actual beta since it will mean people who arnt on beta and just on a PTR while have to test their mains and not a new class to be able to fine tune all the rest the classes a bit better before it goes live.
At this point I pretty much give up any hope getting a beta key and so hope that PTR go up soon so I can atleast test some things before it goes live.

Hey hadeniaz what you mean by AE?
Your build is not horrible per se, but i have to question why did you take blood-caked blade and on a pale horse over 5 points in necrosis? Last time i checked blood caked blade is broken right now, doing 1 damage when it procs and on a pale horse is your typical mount speed talent (though i love it for leveling, i just don’t know how much the 20% less stun and fear duration is worth it).
Also impurity is misguiding since it gives 25% of the 25% from attack power, meaning the talent gives you a whole whooping 6,25% more “spellpower”, just like the improved runetap gives you 30% of the 10% from the basetalent. TBH i’d have taken magic suppression and anti magic field (which afaik atm does not protect yourself, but your partymembers at least) or desecration.
And last Dirge AND Butchery is overkill, Butchery alone should suffice, heck it’s hard to do anything with all the runic power you gain in a fight anyway.
I’ll stop ranting now. You clear Kara with that build so i may be wrong, but it might be even easier with my suggestions.
uhhh isnt frost better over all for tanking? like cuz of the slowing shit it gives then u just grab the dodge and parry from the other two trees
hmmmmm……….By the looks of this every 1 will be playing DK’s due to the extreme power they gonna have also the fact that they might be over-powered. But if they are overpowered then it might as well become World of DeathKnight becasue everyone will be playing them.
Lets just hope Blizzrd does not do a another stuipid mistake but chooses to scale all the classes so they are roughly all euqally scaled and Dk’s can not fit every role.
But i might be wrong. THey look like a awesome class but if they overpwered it wont be fun.
Well, they are Lv80 as well. 10 levels makes all the difference. It’s like how we’re able to 3 man Onyxia at Lv70. We’ve 5 man’d Molten Core at Lv70. It’s all the same.
if u cant beat a clas or a over player it just that thier are better that u not THAT they are overpowerd its stupid sayig a class is overpowed!!
Any class that can self heal and mitigate damage as well as a DK can solo these instances…
The thing that makes DK’s able to do it so well is twofold:
A) No dependence upon mana to heal, ours is runes, which while they do hit cooldowns, they never run out.
B) No need to stop DPS to heal, 80% of our healing in Soloing these instances will be via Death Strike.
Just for gits and shiggles I went in and did Ony, Attumen, Moroes, and a few AQ20 bosses. Spec’d 18/11/42 and it works amazing. Would have cleared AQ20 had the damned Ossirian Crystals worked more than 10% of the time.

Not hard to 3man it.
2 manned it all except illhoof and netherspite with a prot warrior, im a resto druid.
