  • Glyph of Raise Dead - Increases your Ghoul’s total Strength by 10%.

Another cool addition is any time you hit a major city now with your Death Knight you get treated like a red headed step-child…

There is also a new quest in Ebon Hold. It takes place after you finish the quest line to free yourself from the Lich King. After you complete “The Light of Dawn” questline you are returned to Acherus: The Ebon hold to defend it from the scourge. the beta servers are lagging something crazy, I con’t seem to do much at the moment, it even takes about a minute to assign one quest point. Here are the screenshots I was able to take:

Maybe, in time they will learn to accept you. Maybe you slaughtered his best fried or brother. So he repays you with rotten goods and hurtful names.

Someone who has access to beta forums, please please please petition the devs to give us equivalent of the warrior’s set stats for our sets. The warrior DPS set is hugely superior to the DK DPS set. Theirs has like 12% expertise and 5% hit, in addition to ignoring armor, while we get haste? Bah.

  • DB said:

    @J

You do realize that most PvE DPS warriors are Dual-Wield Fury Spec’d right? When you dual-wield, hit becomes one of your most important stats. Since a DK has a 2-hander though, hit isn’t as important as haste, to make it so that we can keep up with the warrior DPS, even with a slow weapon.

So finally Blizz has started editing the “mood” of people against Death Knights (at least on alliance) … Heh heh heh, this is going to be fun!

they added some new quests to EH so in order to be able to interact in the major cities you need to complete them.

Im quite disappointed with this batch of glyphs there isnt anything really good with this batch that I actually want

  • Chris said:

You might just want to credit the site you copy/pasted those DK changes from…. Just might…

  • Zeke said:

    @Chris
He always does. It says MMO-Champion and even has a link to it.

There are a quite a few changes to EH. One, when you get there you will notice almost all the NPC’s are gone. It seems that since you went against the Lich King, all of the Scourge in Ebon Hold want nothing to do with you. You find Mograine there with a handful of Death Knights fighting to keep Ebon Hold. You are given the quest to kill 10 Scourge and Patchwork, who is wreaking havoc on the second floor.

After you have taken care of the remaining Scourge, you are then sent to your faction’s capitol city (Orgrimmar/Stormwind) to convince the leader that even though you were once under command of the Lich King and slaughtered many innocent people, you’re still not such a bad person. Upon arrival, you find the residents of the city are less than pleased to see you (your rep is unfriendly, unable to interact with NPC’s). However, the leader is a bit more forgiving and convinces their people that you really are here to help. You gain 6k rep and become friendly with the city.

Maybe, just maybe, you don’t read this site much, because if you did you would know that I have used WotLKwiki as a source several times, and I have always credited them as the source. Maybe, just maybe, you would have noticed the hurried nature of this post and would either know that the post was incomplete and or figure I just forgot to add it.

So, I’m thinking maybe, just maybe, you should calm down.

  • Chris said:

    @ Kenzi

Someone linked the post to me on IRC and said you copy/pasted with no credit. I’m just the messenger.

Maybe, just maybe, I might already be calm.

  • Requiem said:

Now do you get Friendly with all factions or just the capitol faction and are neutral/unfriendly with the rest? or Friendly with them all?

  • chronium said:

the quest is just for SW I think but the other factions are based on the race you pick. I think

  • Dusk said:

    @ Kenzi

You’re a bit too defensive for being wrong. You made an error, it was pointed out to you, so you act like a dick? The very first response here sums your reaction up pretty well: unprofessional. Maybe it’s you that should calm down and take the time to do things right and cite your sources the first time. Then you don’t have to come across as a sarcastic jerk when someone points out your mistake.

  • Kenzi (author) said:

You may be right, but there also may be more tactful ways of pointing out an error. There are things called PMs and emails. Call me a dick all you want, but I have a right to defend myself, especially on my own website. If professional is what we are all trying to be then I guess we both failed…just might…

Why is Blood of the North in the Blood part of the changes? It’s a frost talent.

they rly nerfed dk alot on this

  • Nerem said:

I don’t think Kenzi is acting unprofessional or out of line at all. Someone coming in and accusing you of plagarism is a serious offense, so him rebutting such accusations is perfectly fine.

Does he sound defensive? Well, you DID just accuse him of plagarism.

    @ Chris

So you seriously just ran here and accused him of plagarism based on second-hand information that you didn’t bother at all to research? YOU’RE the truly unprofessional one here.

    @ Dusk

He’s allowed to be ‘defensive’ if someone is accusing him of actions he did not do. It’s called ‘defending yourself’. I bet you’d do the same if I cast accusations of you being the same person as Chris, or the ‘friend’ who fed him the bogus information that he so gullibly accepted.
