**UPDATED** All of the logos I believe are now added. One person has 2 entries showing, I’m sure you guys can figure out who. VOTE!
First of all, I apologize for the load times that will be seen in this post…there is going to be a ton of logos. I will be saving this thread every time I add 10 logos so check back. Once completed I will post a poll just to get an idea of the majority favorite (the poll will NOT determine the winner). Check back, adding more now!
Also note: If you submitted more than one I am only posting my favorite. Also, if the file size is just way too big I’m not even going to bother. Common sense should have told you that a 9mb logo just wouldn’t work.

13 and 14 so far. they have simple readable text that is attractive and they fit in with the overall style.
So far 13 is my favorite. Only downside is that it isn’t animated. Just slap a little glow effect on it and it would dominate.
13 is the best. A logo should not be animated. NoScript blocks Flash.
You gotta be able to picture the logo up top where it’s actually going to sit. I like 10, 13 and 17.

I don’t care for 6 imo it’s not too special… just a nice background with snow falling and then the runes blurp into the thing and DK.info pops up… I like 5 and 29… if 29 had a better background zamg I’d mail him a card myself, it does have a twinge too long of wait before repeating though.
5 is pretty cool, I like the background, and I like how the runes break into DK.info that is what makes me nergasm. However I’d have liked to see a better font used, and not have that pinkish purple initial font color…
but yea if I had to vote on one I’d say 5 since it has a fairly nice background, and it has good animation

As a site logo , the most important part is BRANDING . aka its name to be visible , BIG , not the runes .
the only decent animated ones are 9 , but the font is kinda bringing it down :) and 6 (but yet again both the runes [and the text for crying out loud.....] are too small ) . Some just feel like they exercised the only skill they know in flash .

13 all the way just fits the game.
First, in good design is the use of good fonts, then readability, then lines and flow, after establishing those conditions you can create style and flavor to fit the theme. Only, 13 exemplifies that style. 14 is close but the lines do not match as well (the rune icons need to be spaced so that the text lines up with it). 5 is very tacky and has bad font and bad animation that is too cluttered. 12 and 38 are off center and bad fonts. Flashy is not better. simple elegant and readable is the most attractive historically by design. 18 is OK too because the deviation in font is used cleverly to tie K and g together.
13. Logo should not be animated, reminds of an advert if something moves in a website :P It also blends well to the background color.
Also, to add a thing, logo should not be flash. As stated before, noscript prevents flash and some users wouldn’t see a logo at all.
48 is nice, looks professional, the rest looks like I have build it *lol*
yeh 13 is pretty good, but im with 6 all the way, it look cool and have captured everthing about this site, the “cold”, the deathknight, the runes and the northrend in the background, and it look pretty cool.

errr 29 is probably the worst? has no animation, a naff border… its practically just DKinfo with the 4 runes… way better up there, and how has 48 got the most votes?

43 Votes on 28 between the last 10 Minutes is not really inconspicuous.
I have updated mine (28) because of problems with IE and FF not showing transparency properly.
I think theres some really good entries and also some really bad ones. Particularly blizzard’s own runes look like they were taken from that 80’s arcade game space invaders ;)
Which is the tiebreaker for voting 6 over 48.

I don’t know why i have so much votes, I have made it in 5 mins. I have set a little info about this contest in mine IM status message but i don’t think i have so muhc friends o.O
Guess I couldn’t get the compression done on mine too well (9), I was going for simple. And I am not sure what is going on with the big white line on the edge… any There are some very talented artists out there. I <3 6, 10, and 13. Good job people.

OMG…If No 28 wins and not 48 I will lose my mind completely…It’s uncompareable…I mean cmon who voted for 28 when 48 was there? (or even 13).
Yeah, 48 is a professional work, and I have made mine 28 in 5-15 minutes with my Flash helpbook on desk… Ofcourse I don’t mean that I don’t want the pre-paid ;>

I have no clue how the votes got dicked, its not rigged. You are only alllowed to vote once per IP address. So either someone is spoofing IPs or they have a guild or something voting. The poll system tracks the voters IP so I could technically trace them all….but im not gonna bother, because, as already stated, this wont determine the winner. I only ran the poll to see the publics favorite.

I think the admin should look at the ip range of votes for picture 28… its not even cut out nicely – cant believe someone voted for this – neither anyone left a comment other than its “ugly”…

Lots of good entries but my vote is for 48. Oh and the votes for 13 should count for 48 also since they are the same thing the only difference is 48 is animated and 13 isn’t. And the animated version is cooler.
