It's not even permanent but something special that will only happen once, yet they whine on... At least on RP realms this is so damn fun. People RPing with the apocalyptic setting, large groups of people organizing the defense and evacuation of civilians, healers who help the injured and infected, large masses of zombies assaulting cities while the citizens and fighters are making a last stand.
