Dude Has 36 WoW Accounts, Zero Girlfriends
We’re currently on the way home from our week long stay on the beautiful beaches of South Carolina. I let my wife take the wheel as we pass through Atlanta, so I thought I would share this incredibly…stupid story. Bradster, the dude mentioned in the title, has an amazing 36 WoW accounts that he even more amazingly plays at the same time. I’m not gonna post the whole quote from the article I found, but will share some of the funny stats.
- His accounts cost him $5711 yearly.
- He plans to spend $1500 to upgrade them all to WotLK.
- He plays on 11 computers, lol.
- He onnly uses 3 add ons.

I think that if anyone had an excess amount of money and really liked WoW, they would MultiBox to this degree.
@Euin – I think people like MultiBoxing Shamans because of the classes balance between healing and spell damage. Think about it, with 36 Shamans, you make 18 Elem and 18 Resto. No way will you survive 18 Shocks, Fire Nova Totems, or Chain Lightning Procs and no way will your group die if each character has a healer following them around while they all have Earth Shield up too.

Like he said in the interview, $5700/year for a solid Hobby really isn’t that bad.
It doesn’t take anymore time than any other hobby might. I think you’d find he plays about the same time as any regular wow player, so there’s no reason to make fun of him when he’s in the same situation as any of you… He just has the mental and monetary capacity to multi-box.
Though, it would have been a load of work to level them all…

That is epukk(kiwi accent). Whoever posts anything negative about this guy is not seeing anything objectively. One could only wish to have the financial support and patience in leveling that this person has obtained. Not to mention the mental stamina to see it through like so many don’t. Example: I have 75 toons on 16 realms and I’m a release-day-player from inception. Only 5 70’s, 5 in the 40-65 range, and the rest are 35 and below. I take my hat off to him.

Just from the picture, the individual gives me the impression that he’s a very clean and organized person, which is hardly a bad thing.

Anyone who has the financial capabilities to support the hobby in this caliber can hardly be considered a loser in life. I’d be willing to wager he’s more successful in life than most individuals making fun of this guy.

I’m going to go ahead and make an educated guess that he has in fact played more WoW than most of us. I could be wrong…but I’m not. And by “educated guess” I meant “factual statement.”

I just wanted to clear one thing up here: The person multiboxing with 36 accounts IS NOT BRADSTER, he in fact goes by the handle “Prepared”. Prepared made a forum post at dual-boxing.com about his setup, and another user, Bradster, reposted it on the front page because the multiboxing community is just as amazed as the rest of you.
TL;DR version:
Bradster IS a multiboxer.
Bradster IS NOT the multiboxer who owns 36 accounts.
Prepared IS the multiboxer who owns 36 accounts.

I can’t believe someone would have this much time. Contrary to popular belief $5700 is better spent elsewhere and is a lot of money to be spent on any hobby.

Ok. Some facts. I have 2 accounts. 4 70s in one of them and 3 in the other. All chars are fully epic geared with set for alternative specs. I’ve raided to SWP with 3 of them (not simultaneously). I work in the morning (have to wake up at 06:45am) till 03:00pm and i also have some part time job in the evening (over at 08:00 am). I live in my own apartment (3 years now) and this year i also bought a car -.- These are the things that i HAVE.
What i DONT HAVE are just 2 things.
1) Time to sleep.
2) Time to have a girlfriend.
The life i’m living right now isnt normal and it wont last much more (hopefully :) Now if any of you believes that this guy has a normal life with his family, is either incredibly stupid and naive or doesnt have a clue about wow. Unless he bought all these accounts as well as 10k gold with each one of them sth that would make him a Retard.
Always remember that WoW has nothing to do with how brilliant your mind is. It’s all about time and unfortunately every day has only 24 hours. That’s it.

PS: It’s a waste of money to buy a ferrari too, and it costs a shitload of money in diesel also. But if you got the money to buy one, the money spend on keeping it running ain’t your biggest problem.

I read on the article that this guy “Bradster” uploaded this guys pictures, “Bradster” has a wife and children, although this other guy, well we don’t know.
To be perfectly honest, it is a little cooky of him to do this, but he uses a program that allows him to load all instances of wow at the same time, assuming this; he can play 4 characters at once using 1 PC
Now he may play 9 different comps at the same time (9*4=36) but I guess this guy just has the mental capacity to do so.
He decides to blow that amount of money a year on it, let him be (although if he didnt want any trouble, making it public didnt help as there are a lot of ignorant people out there) but just take a second to thing these things out before you slag the dude off.

Second of all having a wife doesn’t excuse you for being what I would call a loser of epic proportions. If his wife accepts him sitting there all day (and he most likely does) she is probably a fat nasty, insecure woman anyway so I’m really not impressed.
