The Zombie Army is Growing
The Zombie infestation is continuing to grow! It seems to be going in phases which makes the infection harder to dispell, easier to get, and now shorter to convert. Here is a recap of the 2nd and third phase:
Phase 2
- Crate are now in all major cities.
- Critters in all major cities are now infected and infect those that kill them.
- The infection is harder to dispell.
Phase 3
- Infection reduced from 10 min to 5 min.
- More crates and infected roaches.
- Plagued Residents now spawning outside of cities.
So with each phase the infection gets harder to get rid of, easier to get, and quicker to convert. With 20 days before WotLK what could all this be leading up to? Well, Boubouille at MMOC has found a new boss data mined from beta game files. Prince Tenris Mirkblood of the San’Layn. The San’Layn are allied with the Lich King himself.
Boubouille also found a quest related to the new boss. Chamber of Secrets. you can see the link to the quest on live servers by copying and pasting this code:

The only reward that shows for the quest so far (also found by Boubouille) is Monster Slayers Kit.

The Argent healers are decreasing in number now to…
This is good… at least in the way of having fun. Lorewise it’s not great, but hey, with the Zombie infection debuff gong from 10 min to 5 min, Argent Healers gone missing, and the Zombie Explosion radius increased, this means that Stormwind and other cities are going to be razed easily.

I think its great the way Blizzard have designed this. They made it so playing as a zombie is fun, to make the threat itself very real. It’s great.
Personally I can’t wait till it gets worse. I’m fed up of players moaning in general about the zombies. I can totally understand, they want to quest and stuff but I’ve seen people moaning who’ve been unaffected by the zombie presence and quite frankly, I couldn’t care less for those people.
I’d like to raid Stormwind with a huge zombie horde and take it over. It’d be so epic!

Head for Darn if you’re an alliance player and check out the area near the bank. Two new quests from the argent dawn are available!
Not sure if they are present in SW yet, haven’t checked.
On closer inspection it appears the scourge are starting their full assault! I won’t spoil anything for you, head for the argent dawn questgivers, and head into battle!
