Death Knight on a Baron Mount!

I’m not going to call this a world first or anything, but Siggo on Mannoroth sent in a picture of his Death Knight for the Newborn page and low and behold he is sitting atop a Baron Mount! congrats on your mount! Anyone else farming this now?

Already been farming it with my DK(I have it on my main, retired my Mechnostride when it dropped). Only got in a hand full of runs with a mage friend that was grinding mats to power level his enchanting. Now that he’s moved on though, I’ll be returning at 65 or 70 to break up the level grind dulldrums.

ive been doing a run or 2 a night after ive had enough of leveling, started doing them at 75, only just 76 now due to working but no baron mount yet, but im getting a nice bit of argent dawn rep in the process

At level 80 you don’t even have to kill any trash mobs. I just did 3 runs and got the mount to drop. Easy.

Hey, actually yes my lvl 80 death knight also has the baron mount, and I must say I prefer it in terms of looks to the default DK mount.

Farming this casually on my 80 DK, wish I could say I am as lucky as some and it dropped on my 1st or 2nd run, but it has not :(

Will keep running it 4 or 5 times a day eventually it will, and yeah I too think it looks better than our starter mount.

the runs are fast and simple, I avoid as many mobs as possible kill bosses then clear the ugly guys, kill ramstein inside the door, aoe the sentries and move on to baron, death gate out.

I have been making nice money doing this and looting the stuff I kill, there’s another DK on my server who is also farming it when I am in there we chat in strat gen channel he’s been lucky and has gotten 2 boe epics from the acolytes.
