I personally wouldn’t count an axe with those poor of stats as a tanking 2h at 80. Yes, the defense is nice, but at 80 i’d take a dps weapon with a decent amount of stam over that axe any day.

Although, when these 2h do come out, i’ll probably get both and use them situationally depending on my other gear.

wrong orson very wrong, theres a green 2h axe as quest reward in icecrown wich gives +defense. ;)

ohh and btw to that weapon why does it say ‘’sword” in that axe :D.
and yes those are great tanking weapons for Dk’s.But where are the craftable 1h wepons u know that when blizzard makes 1 of thease real warriors and paladins are gona whine about it and make 1h.
well i personally agree whit them cause it isn’t fair to make a tank weapon to a Single class

Well we can see some imortant characters using the tier 8 like the boss in Dalaran and the boss in ebon hold they are wearing tier 8 but there are some sets that are not in the game all ready like rogue and priest.
