The DKosphere: Selliana

admin December 7 2008 9:16 am No Comment

If you haven’t noticed I changed the named of the Newborn Death Knight section to The DK Wall. I will be using this for posting all pictures that are sent to me. So if you send in an achievement or some other type news and you have a picture of your DK it will more than likely end up on the wall. OR if you want your DK on the wall, then send it in!

I received an email a couple days ago with a picture for the Newborn section, and like most of those emails I just normally download the picture and go on. But this email was different. Selliana from EU-Moonglade took some time with their submission and I felt like it deserved more than just uploading the picture and discarding the email. So here it is:

Name: Selliana – Female Human DK
Age: 16 [Pre DK] – 21 [Dk]
Runeblade: Frozen Twin

Race: Human
Realm: Moonglade EU
Guild: Templarii Lvsitaniae – www.templarii.org

Lore:

Selliana lived in harmony with her sister in the deeps of Elwyn Forest. She was a Paladin in training and her sister for which she had so much pride was one of the High Protectors of Stormwind.

On a rainy day…in the Town of Lakeshire there was an Scourge invasion on their way.
The town sent a messenger to Stormwind seeking aid for protection…

A wast army of the best of best was sent to Lakeshire….her sister…also.

Selliana could not leave her Sister to battle…she was scared…of loosing what she most loved.
She picked her Sword and Shield and ran as fast as she could to aid her sister in the mist of battle.

As the army of the Scourge arrived…the Alliance was ready…each and everyone prepared to give their live for the sake of the Alliance…

As Selliana arrived…her fear has come to front…she saw the battlefield…Death…death was what she saw…the crying little sister Selliana ran to where the survivors of the Alliance front where standing in hope to find her sister…and a smile came…her sister was in good health…she had the smile of Victory as she stood up and saw the defeat of the Scourge…Selliana screamed her name and ran with all her joy towards her sister…when it happened.

As her sister sees Selliana running towards her…she started to walk in her direction where suddenly from the ground rised a undead scourge and pierced trough her heart.

Selliana stopped running…she was unable to react…her eyes where so wide opened of fear…tears…not the tears of joy from before…those where tears of sadness and anger….in a berserk state of mind…she ran towards the undead only to seal her own fate…as she ran towards him…more and more undead where appearing…the invasion…was only a diversion. Selliana stood next to her sisters body where suddenly her hand was grabbed….her sister was still alive…she pulled her down…she wanted to say something…ans selliana cleaned her tears and tried to understand what she was saying…her sister has given her one last request….”Believe in the Light…even in Darkness”. She could not understand what she meant but it was to late to escape…she closed her eyes…never to be opened again.

5 Years have passed since then….now she stands towards her home…destroyed…her hands were cold…her soul…lost…Selliana was reborn…the Darkness that she so feared was now part of her own.
She pulled her Sword from the ground…walking towards unknown fate…even not being part of the Lich Kings wast army of Death Knights….she seeks to return to her master…*revenge* is a word she keeps hearing in her mind…memories of her past…some lost…some returned…one thing is sure…her sister….she has never forgotten.

About the Runeblade:

It’s called Frozen Twin due to following reason…Selliana was able to keep an amulet from her sister that she was wearing during the Battle…while she was holding the hand of Selliana she was able to transfer a part of her soul to the Amulet. Selliana does not know but a part of her sisters soul is now part of her own being the one to reside in Sellianas runeblade.

Thanks for taking the time to add some flavor to a normally boring email!
