Death Knight With Thunderfury Say What

News of this first surfaced a couple weeks ago and while I found the story interesting, I didn’t think it was big enough for a blog post. Well apparently a lot of you do because I have received email after email about Dragoth, the only known Death Knight with the legendary Thunderfury. You can see his accomplishment via his achievement screen on the armory in the Feat of Strength section.

Many have asked how is this even possible considering that the Bindings of the Windseeker is class specific. German CM Rynundu answered the question in the poorly translated blue post below:

If you assume that “Thunder of anger” is Thunderfury, and “shackles” is a poor transation of Bindings…
then this makes perfect sense.

“Thundfury can now be obtained for each class. The tooltip for the bindings will be updated in a future patch”

As of patch 3.0, in BWL, the goblin who is supposed to teach smelting Elementium no longer has the ability? (Does that mean only people who already knew the ability will be the only ones to ever be able to?)

Our guys (guildies :P) were talking about elemntium ores since a guildie needed them to make thunderfury. The elemntium ore smelting must be relearned since the patch and then you can smith it again. That’s as far as i remember.

One major problem with this image… the item still says BoP… if he really had the item it would say soulbound instead… that’s just a link from someone else who already has it, not from that character its self since the text is wrong.

This is simply because the screenshot was taken by somebody inspecting the Death Knight with Thunderfury, not a screenshot taken by the Death Knight looking at his character screen himself.
