News still slow, but the PTR blues just keep rolling in. For those of you that are sick of hearing about 3.0.8 and not seeing it go live, some of the following blues may help quinch your thirst.
Tons of Howling Blast talk. We haz a CD…we haz no CD…We haz a CD!?! I guess for you DWers and frost people, the Howling Blast CD is here to stay.

For many of you tanking DKs you may have noticed how sometimes single target threat can be a challenge. GC has posted that the issue is being looked at and one bug has already been found and is being hot fixed (presumably with today’s maintenance).

We’re looking at the issue since players have brought it up. However, we are not hearing widespread feedback from across the board that DKs are struggling to maintain single-target threat. That is what makes me wonder if something else is going on, like it only occurs …

A new PTR build was pushed last night and and one of the biggest changes was the removal of the Blacksmithed tanking weapons.

The two-handed Blacksmithing tanking weapons are not going to be implemented.

Indeed, we did not want to stick DKs with these weapons forever, nor did we want to start itemizing 2H tanking weapons forever. DKs were designed to tank with 2H dps weapons.

The new sigil and runeforge enchant should help players with low defense.

I’m actually relieved to know that the temptation to pigeon hole myself into a 186 dps …
