Class Change Announcements For 3.1 Coming Soon, A Fix For Ebon Plague is Not.

In a thread of Mage QQ today, Ghostcrawler let is be known that information about class changes for 3.1 would be coming out “soon”. Hopefully that means that 3.1 will be on PTR’s “soon” as well.

Ghostcrawler
We are going to be announcing some of our plans for classes in 3.1 fairly soon. The announcements will be prominent. They will not be comprehensive. We are not going to announce every change we are going to make. We are going to risk giving you some insight into a work in progress, even though we may ultimately decide not to make some of the changes. You guys can help me remind other players of that when they get angry because we didn’t deliver a change that they were “promised.”

And who here that is specced Unholy doesn’t just hate the fact that you get ripped every time you group or raid with another Unholy DK? Ebon Plaguebringer bug sucks for us all but apparently Blizzard thinks respeccing is the answer.

Ghostcrawler
This is the right solution. However, as I said the last time this question was asked, our priority right now is making sure more DKs spec Frost or Blood, not how to reward groups that bring multiple Unholy DKs. We do recognize it is annoying though and we’ll get it fixed.

Another thing that has gotten some laughs lately is the random names that our Ghouls get. From Bonegobbler to Bonehead, I think I’ve seen some pretty messed up names lately. What are some of the funny ones you have seen?

They look very legitimate, some things I found almost farfetched but wowinsider did post them and then magically took them down lol.

    Just. Plain. Wrong.

With the Ebon plague that doesn’t stack with multiple Dk’s i whas unable to join a Guild because they allready have one Unholy Dk and that there will Be a loose of Dps for one on us.

So i have the choice to 1)find another Guild 2) respecc Blood…

Thank you Blizz for this nice shit…

If you aren’t willing to respec, then you shouldn’t expect to be accepted into a serious raiding guild.

Knowing your class means knowing your class, knowing only your spec is too narrow-minded.

Interesting “leaked” 3.1 notes, wishful thinking buffs~

    • New Spell: Unholy Grip, 20 Runic Power, 3 min cooldown – Harnesses the unholy energy that surrounds and binds all matter, drawling all targets within a 30 yard radius towards the death knight and forcing all enemies to attack the death knight for 6 sec.

I’ve had a Ghoul named “Eyedrinker” once. Talk about wrong and impossible lol. But the best one I’ve had so far was “Corpsegrinder”. For those of you not familiar with the band ‘Cannibal Corpse’ thats the singer’s stage name and he’s a pretty big WoW fan. I tried hard to not let that ghoul die for the longest time but his fate was inevitable =(

Hehe, as WOW is full of references from here and there. Many quests names are actually song names from depeche mode. ^_^

The best ghoul name I ever had was Brainmonger.

Now I’ve respecced blood, and prefer it.

    Best ghoul name possible: Eyeface.
