Undoubtedly the most exciting and most anticipated feature of the upcoming 3.1 patch is the new dual spec option. We should be seeing the 3.1 PTR very soon and to get people ready for this game changing feature, CM Nethaera sat down with Senior Game Designer Greg Street (aka Ghostcrawler) to get out more information.

    that’s a pretty sweet feature!
And I guess Outfitter will become somewhat obsolete..

Too bad I won’t be refunded the gold on all those times I respecced from PVE to PVP on my shadow priest.

In terms of my DK though: I almost solely PVP with my DK and right now I am respeccing often trying out different PVP specs. I have found that I prefer different specs for arena over battlegrounds. This will be definitely useful for that.

Hopefully this will come to be implemented sooner rather than later. I spend probably 200g a week on respeccing.

    Only available to maximum-level players?

My rogue is currently leveling in Northrend as Mutilate spec. I’m thinking of going Combat Swords or Shadowstep, but I also want to keep Mutilate just in case. I was actually looking forward to switching between the two specs… But this new information is quite disappointing. I hope they make the dual-spec option available to level 60+ players, atleast…
