Prismatic Gems Not So Prismatic Come Next Patch
Bornakk posted today to inform all you JCers that come next “major” content patch prismatic gems will no longer be prismatic and will need to fit the appropriate gem slot.
BornakkIn the next major content patch we will be removing the prismatic quality of the jewelcrafter-only Dragon’s Eye gems. Like other gems, they will have to match the socket color to receive a socket bonus. When this change occurs, players with qualifying jewelcrafting skill will be provided a yet to be determined amount of Dalaran Jewelecrafter Tokens as compensation.

I understand the reason why this is being done, but I am not happy about it.
First Engineering, now this. Why don’t they just scrap Professions altogether? Blacksmiths will be nerfed next, then probably whatever profession has a slight advantage over the others.
Why? It took a lot of time to get JC skill up to get these gems end game, and now they are making it harder to used an item I worked my butt off for. So instead of just saying they are nerfing and making me angry, how about a good reason!?
On a side note, get it right the first time and quit getting our hopes up and dashing them into the ground every other patch.
