A post from Eyonix today:

The Wrath of the Lich King alpha test has now come to a close. We’d like to thank all of you for your participation and invaluable feedback on the game. The World of Warcraft team is hard at work preparing for the next phase of testing, and each of you will be invited back to participate. We're also happy to inform you that we will not be wiping characters as we transition from alpha to beta. However, all current alpha characters will be locked for a short period of time, allowing new players entering the beta sufficient time to catch up.

We look forward to seeing you all again in the Wrath of the Lich King beta test.

Great to hear... does that wipe the NDA since its beta? so everywhere will have some of the same info we have been privledged to see these past few months?

They haven't said anything about the NDA yet. Not sure if its over now or still in effect till beta starts.

And in addition it's posted by ElGee, with the amount of screenshots from the actual Alpha he's shown us I think we can safely say this is reliable.

The NDA probably would be lifted when the beta begins like for TBC.

The purpose of a Alpha is to set the groundwork with the actual testing and balancing occuring in beta with a larger test group.

I knew it would happen something today! (With the Alpha / Beta)

2.4.3 Went live
Stormwind Harbor is under construction (On live realms, not EU yet though.)

I just somehow feel that it all fits Wink
