At 540 Defense, your chance to be missed is 9.288%. (quote from Whitetooth)
Frigid dreadplate gives 3% to be missed.
Quickness (Nelf racial) gives 2% to be mised.

I'm not really sure when the DR from def is applied but I think it gives 14.288% chance to be missed.

Nelf and Frigid are DR exempt, but DR applies to the 'miss' on Defence.
So 9.288% would be including any DR effects.

Going from 14.288% to the cap requires 1.7%, which you get from 42 def skill, at around 582 def.
So nelf frost DK will get way more value from dodge.

Whitetooth replied to a bug report I'd put in, to say he's fixed TankPoints to reflect Frigid Deathplate in the 'to miss' calculation; which it wasn't before. You'll find this fix in r103 onwards.

Mmm, nelf racial is a pretty sweet deal.
Some guy in my guild was trying to claim to me humans were better in every way, that the expertise was needed for threat and good for dps, and that the trinket would save you more than 2% dodge.
