Still can't infer the damage, but this gives a pretty good indication that it can go up to a minute if you generate enough Runic Power for it to go full duration (i.e. generate more Runic Power per sec than it's draining).

2614 life at level 55 with a buff duration of 60 seconds. Consumes 10 runic power every 2 seconds.


That averages a little over 6k done if up for full duration.

Pretty sweet.

You said it was 6k damage and assume it was for 60 secs thats what...
100 dps? at level 55

Thanks, now i can get a feel for RP duration and power for some spells.  Man that makes the frost tree pretty usefull for versitility with Runic power mastery making spells behave as if there is 30% more RP and chromatic rune mastery

Yeah I agree. The only unfortunate thing about Runic Power Mastery is that it locks you out from Dancing Runeblade and Unholy Blight, which would be awesome to use with it. So basically you get a bigger Death Coil, longer silence, or 13 seconds of a bunch of people getting frozen. Or huge Corpse Explosions I suppose, if somebody can find a use for that spell.

find a use for it? first thing that comes to mind is AV right at the ally bridge with all the aoe goin on, click CE and click a dead toon and BAM lots o dmg  cheesy

or maybe for example the pulls in kara around moroes, if you happen to kill one early, bam toss a CE on that corpe and BOOM once again  buck2

Hehe okay, well yeah .. if you can manage to target the corpse under all those mobs. For Rank 1 (and Imp. CE talent), if you manage to build up 100 RP and get it off then it's going to do 180 damage + 58 dot to every target within 20 yards, which is respectable, but it takes a while to get to 100 RP and there's hardly corpses lying everywhere in most situations. It just seems a little .. gimmicky to me, that's all.

IMO 10 sec CD, usable on anybody and 10 yard radius. AoE tanking ahoy!

Yeah the targeting part will suck, when i was watching the video it did not seem like it needed to be targeted, and some of the spells will use corpse dust if a corpse is not around. I hope this is the case with CE too.
