Auriaya pull issues

This may be a basic tank issue, rather than a specific problem here (I'm quite new to this) but here it is:
On the first pull in Auriaya 25 man, I am off tanking two of the adds as deep unholy spec. Every other pull, I will lose my secondary target to the other offtank (now tanking three and will die).
How best to handle this? I don't seem to have time to disease and pestilence. And if I switch to secondary to taunt, I often lose aggro to dps.
Is the solution just to ask dps to slow? Does anyone have a specific tactic?

Tell dps to wait a couple of seconds before going all out on the main target.
Giving you time to migrate diseases, and slapping a scourge strike on the second target(This is likely to glue it to you, providing you generate AoE threat on it while hitting the main target with enough threat).
Don't be afraid to drop down another DnD. Even if it's only two targets, it's a lot of threat.

I'd agree with Raptorg, even though I've only done 10-man, simply on the basis that the pull is PART of that fight in an unusual way, so it's very reasonable to tell DPS to hold off longer than usual (tell them to wait til you say 'go').

Off the top of my head, dont they buff eachother if close? The idea is to keep them spread. Anyone can tank these. A cat can go bear, a dps DK can just rely on FP. Keep em apart, have a pre-organised kill order & should be job done.

when we did heroic: crazy cat lady we had 2 hunters misdirect 2 of them, i would grip the 2nd one on me and use 1 bloodboil... maybe DnD that normally gave me time to get diseases up and have enough innital threat on the 2 i was tanking.
same goes for when you kill the cats normally except you can use icebound fortitude straight away to help your healers.

use dnd for the pull and run out of LoS.
your other tank can taunt and add, and have one MD'd to him, and the MT for Auriaya, and grab her on his own. don't hesitate using cooldowns if you happen to get a 3rd add on you. that shouldn't happen however
should simplify things nicely

This is what we do.
Split the 4 adds to two tanks, OT1 n OT2. OT1 takes the first and third dps target, OT2 takes the 2nd and 4th. If you are OT1 you priority is to get and keep threat on the first dps target and control the 3rd dps target, OT2s job id a bit easier as you dont need the hard threat to start. My Unholy OT1 strat is to throw a DnD down, SS 1st dps target, BB and Rune Strikes. May have to switch to 3rd dps target and taunt depending what class the OT2 is. OT2 should use direct threat over AOE so not to pull off of you as he will have more time to gen threat. We have a hunter explosive trap/misdirect to the OT1 -or- OT1 places a DnD in her path on the pull if no hunter is available.
Aside from the OT setup:
LOS the initial pull so adds don't pounce.
Make sure EVERYONE is grouped up tight just around the first LOS column.
Use IBF on the pull to mitigate some of the damage.
NO PETS ALLOWED even on passive till people learn the fight well, cats will pounce them.

Thanks for all the advice. The two problems is:
a) Our OT2 is a FANTASTIC prot pally, rated top 5 in his class/spec on the realm. He will, almost without fail, get a third cat on him.
b) I am then too slow to taunt the third add off him, aggro and get back to primary target.
Maybe asking him to use less aoe might help. Bring it on.

Have your dps help you out. Misdirection/Tricks of the Trade will go a long way towards keeping aggro.

Ok then, you get OT2, Pally can AOE, you taunt one and have a misdirect on one. Use cooldowns on the pull. If your pally is so great he can prolly bubble through 3 cats on the initial till you taunt the second. The initial pull is always a bit sketchy so cd's are very useful, dont wait cuz you'll be dead. The initial pull seems to be the most challenging part of the fight, after that its cake

It seems my guild is unusually tank heavy, having enough for both of our heroic teams to run this particular fight with enough tanks to have one per add, though a few times we've done this with one of them being a cat going bear. I've even heard tell of a few times having a Fury Warr throw a shield on for the fight. As far as keeping them apart, I've never done such a thing, we've just burned them hard.

I just soak the initial pounce from all four with enough cooldowns to choke a rhino.
And rhinos don't choke easily.

Actual explaination: We do handle the pull by forcing the only target in LoS to be a deathknight with PS, GS, IBF, HoSac, and VB active. It was enough to keep me alive before the fight got nerfed, now it's just overkill. Once everything pounces, our paladin runs out and avenger's shields the right three, a hunter misdirects the leftmost one to the druid, and the druid taunts one of the AS'd cats onto himself. That gives all three targets a decent initial lock on one tank or the other, and a low enough damage income on me that they don't run off to eat healers.

Theres many tactics it seems! My guild's
* Hunter puts fire trap down & runs out LOS.
* Use 4 dps players to snatch a cat each. A dps DK in frost presence for example, . Burn em down 1 at a time v fast. Once down, we go bend the boss over
